30-Year Technology Veteran Chris Derossi Joins Verifi
LOS ANGELES, CA–(February 26, 2015) – Verifi, Inc., the leading provider of payment and risk management solutions for card-not-present merchants, today announced the appointment of Chris Derossi as Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Derossi will oversee the technology team and drive technical innovation for Verifi’s products and services globally.

Derossi brings a wealth of technology and payments experience to his new position at Verifi. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer at Ultimate Gaming, where he launched the first regulated and licensed online poker site in the United States.

Early in his career Derossi served as Chief Architect for MacOS at Apple. He later moved on to help establish and grow several Silicon Valley start-up companies. Derossi was also the founder and CEO of CyberArts, a company providing regulated real-money gaming software to licensed internet gaming companies globally. In addition, he worked closely with gaming regulators in Nevada, New Jersey, the United Kingdom, Italy and Malta.
