Tony Wootton and Jeff Sawitke to Focus on Delivering a World-Class, End-to-End Payment Management Solution that Protects Merchants During Card-not-Present Transactions
Los Angeles, California – (April 28, 2010) – Verifi, Inc., a leading provider of payment risk management solutions for card-not-present (CNP) transactions, announced today the appointment of two key executives to senior management positions. The new executives will be instrumental in supporting Verifi’s business strategy to further develop its products and services, and its expansion into new markets.
Tony Wootton joins Verifi as Chief Revenue Officer responsible for sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Verifi, Wootton was senior vice president of business development at rentpayment.com, the largest payment processor for the real estate and utilities industries where he managed two strategic business units, forged leading distribution partnerships and managed sales. Tony also served as general manager and vice president at Green Dot, the leading provider of prepaid debit cards. At Green Dot, Wootton managed payment solutions and business development. He brings 11 years of digital distribution and alternative payments expertise to Verifi.
After a four-year tenure in various positions as vice president of technology, product strategy and development at Verifi, Jeff Sawitke has been promoted to Chief Product Officer. In this role, Sawitke will be responsible for the strategy and development of all Verifi products, solutions and services.
