Recognition Highlights Innovation in Payments Technology
The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) selected Matthew Katz, CEO of Verifi, Inc., for their 2019 Forty Under 40 prestigious list of leaders. ETA’s select group of executives represents all the evolving segments of the payments industry, highlighting the game-changers whose innovations and leadership are driving the industry forward.
Over 100 nominations were submitted to the ETA by association members and industry leaders. The 2018 class of Forty Under 40 leaders and the ETA Awards and Recognition committee reviewed and selected this year’s final group, based on the nominees’ achievements in the payments industry and their professional character.

Matthew founded Verifi in 2005, realizing early in the formation of the company that merchants and issuers shared the need to reduce fraud and chargebacks, but lacked the means to pursue effective solutions.
