Customers and prospects can find Verifi on the VISA Global List of PCI DSS Validated Service Providers.

On an annual basis, Verifi works with PCI Compliance auditor Trustwave, the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions to businesses and organizations throughout the world. The comprehensive audit includes document collection and analysis, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing as well as regularly recurring scans throughout the year.
“Verifi is committed to ensuring the security of payment transactions and cardholder information.” says Edward Katzin, CTO of Verifi, Inc. “We want our merchants to know we are dedicated to complying with and exceeding the requirements established in the PCI standards. Verifi is focused on continuously improving our systems and operating practices to address evolving threats and changes to the PCI standards.”
Cardholder data security is one of the most significant issues facing the payment card industry. The PCI DSS is a multifaceted security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. The PCI DSS best practices cover 12 industry-wide requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures, that service providers must adhere to in order to safeguard sensitive data.
The PCI DSS, endorsed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc., requires merchants and service providers that store, process or transmit customer payment card data to adhere to information security controls and processes that ensure data integrity. More information on the Council and the standard can be found at www.pcisecuritystandards.org.
“As a trusted partner to our merchants, safeguarding our customer and payment transaction information is our top priority,” said Jennifer Schulz, Chief Executive Officer of Verifi, Inc. “Ensuring compliance with the PCI standards and keeping our PCI Certification up-to-date reflects our commitment to security and compliance for the protection of credit card information. We are proud to be working with Trustwave in these efforts.”
