Verifi Joins the Salvation Army to Kick-Off Season of Giving; Staff Shepherds 100 LAUSD Students Through Shopping Spree

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 17, 2015) – Los Angeles-based Verifi, Inc., the leading provider of payment and risk management solutions for card-not-present merchants, kicked off their Season of Giving early this year with a shopping spree benefiting students of Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) on November 17th.
Orchestrated by the Southern California chapter of the Salvation Army, Verifi employees along with other local volunteers accompanied one hundred school-aged children throughout the Santa Monica Sears store. Each child was given a $100 Sears voucher to purchase clothing, shoes and accessories. Verifi employees were paired with the students to  provide guidance and advice for each purchase and even donated the overage cost for each child.
“At Verifi, we see this time of year as a ‘Season of Giving,’” said Matthew Katz, CEO of Verifi. “These opportunities are a perfect way to give back to our local community. By giving our time, our resources and our guidance, we hope to make a small difference in these children’s lives.”
Verifi’s corporate social responsibility includes quarterly service events and other community efforts such as Habitat for Humanity, Pet Orphans and many other amazing organizations. On December 1st and 3rd, Verifi employees from the Las Vegas office volunteered at the Salvation Army’s West Owens Ave location to serve meals to families in-need.
Verifi is internationally known for their award-winning Cardholder Dispute Resolution Network™ (CDRN). The CDRN platform processes hundreds of thousands of cases monthly and provides merchants and credit card Issuers unmatched protection through near real-time collaboration for both fraud and non-fraud chargeback disputes. CDRN’s patented “closed loop” process integrates directly with top card issuers and redirects disputes from the issuer to the merchant for resolution before they escalate and become chargebacks. Merchants avoid costly fees, fines or penalties while issuers support cardholder satisfaction through timely resolution, as well as lower operating expenses.
Based on its proprietary “closed loop process,” CDRN is widely considered the most accurate and collaborative network solution for fraud and non-fraud disputes. Leveraging timely and dispute data directly from the issuers, allows CDRN to prevent chargebacks  and avoid paying for false alerts that do not become chargebacks, result in lower profits due to excessive refunding or don’t prevent the chargeback in the end.
Verifi serves a broad and growing base of customers ranging from early stage to Fortune 500 merchants and top tier issuers.
