Verifi, Inc. announces the addition of Curtis Yee to the organization as Vice President of Analytics. Curtis brings to Verifi over 18 years of experience in the payment and financial services industry.
Beverly Hills, California (September 4, 2007) — Verifi Inc., the leading provider of transaction risk management services for card-not-present merchants, announces the addition of Curtis Yee, who joined the company as Vice President of Analytics. Curtis brings to Verifi over 18 years of experience in the payment and financial services industry.
Verifi provides Merchants, Acquirers and Issuing Banks the tools they need to reduce risk and increase profitability. Using proprietary and industry applications, Verifi supports the creation of a safe and secure payment environment for all participants. Mr. Yee is responsible for driving operational efficiencies and risk reduction for merchants via analytic consulting services and products.

Prior to joining Verifi, Mr. Yee held numerous management positions at Visa, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Processing and Emerging Products. Here, he had overall responsibility for the analysis of risk related data for the U.S. region. In this capacity, his group utilized the data to enhance the operations and reduce the risk of fraud faced by Visa members. He was also responsible for the strategy and daily operations of the Account Data Compromise Recovery Program, which reallocates financial liability to various parties within the card payment chain due to data compromises.
Previously, Curtis was a Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance at Charles Schwab, where he was charged with the analysis of all trading and revenue metrics across various channels. Before joining Charles Schwab, he was an Operations Manager at HSBC (formerly Household Credit Services) in the Fraud Department where his group quantified and forecasted risk exposure to the company along with developing and implementing strategies to minimize credit card fraud losses.
