Verifi, Inc. announces the addition of David Truetzel to the organization as a Strategic Advisor.
Beverly Hills, California (October 25, 2007) — Verifi Inc., the leading provider of transaction risk management services for card-not-present merchants, announced that David Truetzel joined the company as Strategic Advisor.

Mr. Truetzel brings over twenty years of experience in the financial services and technology industries to Verifi. David has direct operating experience in the payments industry, having served as the Chief Financial Officer of First USA Paymentech (Chase Paymentech), managing the Company through its initial public offering and helping orchestrate approximately twenty acquisitions over a three year period. In addition, David has been a successful private equity investor and manager, focusing on private equity investments in the financial services industry. He served as a General Partner of Augury Capital Partners, a fund he co-founded in 2006, and as a General Partner at Hela Capital Partners from 2001 to 2005.
From 1985 to 1995, David worked in the Corporate Finance Division at A.G. Edwards & Sons, with the last five years of his tenure serving as Managing Director. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Saint Louis University, his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a certified public accountant. David sits on the Board of Directors of Enterprise Bank, T3 and Clearent, LLC.
