Initiative is Part of Verifi’s Ongoing Effort to Give Back to its Community
LOS ANGELES, CA–(October 27, 2015) – Verifi, Inc., the leading provider of payment and risk management solutions for card-not-present merchants, recently partnered with the Van Nuys Pet Orphans organization and The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas to help both organizations with the rescued animals they provide for on a daily basis.
Employees from the Verifi Los Angeles office volunteered with Pet Orphans for a second year in a row while the Verifi Las Vegas team donated their time to The Animal Foundation. At both organizations, Verifi employees exercised, played with and bathed the animals. Additionally, they helped clean and organize their spaces to make it easier to help the animals in need.
“The Verifi organization is based on a strong culture that believes in family and giving back to the community, so we encourage employees to participate in a Verifi sponsored charity activity every quarter,” said Matthew Katz, CEO, Verifi, Inc. “Many of our employees have animals that they consider a part of their family so we thought working with local animal organizations would be a perfect opportunity to give back this quarter. Having the ability to work with rescue animals that haven’t had the best living conditions and don’t get a lot of attention is such a rewarding experience because you know they can’t help themselves.”

Pet Orphans is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of companion animal welfare and to combating overpopulation, abandonment and the need for euthanasia.
