Sales spike during the holiday giving season, but come January, buyer’s remorse sets in, resulting in a sharp uptick of holiday post-season disputes. Customers that are no longer able to return merchandise due to expired return policies may attempt to utilize disputes as a mechanism to receive a refund for unwanted goods.
